avg 7 0 free antivirus
I just thought you would like to know about my experience with AVG 7 0 free antivirus software that I installed on my PC.
It installed just fine and then I ran my first antivirus scan and it searched my entire hard drive for malicious viruses and trojans. At the end of the scan AVG said my hard drive was clean.
A couple of weeks later I got a call from my Capital One Platinum Visa card. The Fraud security team said someone used my card overseas and they stopped it. I certainly did not use it so they immediately canceled the card and issued another. Luckily they caught it!
So after this eye opening experience I thought maybe the AVG software on my PC did not find all threats.
I then immediately installed the free anti-virus from PC TOOLS on the advice from a friend.
It installed really fast, the scan was lightening fast and it found 3 Trojan BackDoor Viruses that turned my PC into some kinda BOT that sucked all the personal info off of the Hard drive.
I clicked on “remove threats” and it did so fast.
Thanks to my friend my computer is not infested with viruses and trojans.
So I will save you alot of trouble
